My husband and I stayed at Vacation Village and had a wonderful experience. We read the reviews posted here and did our homework before we traveled. We noticed that a lot of the reviews that posted disappointing results, were personal and the lack of poor planning versus the fault of the resort. Our check-in experience was great. We took a red-eye flight, called ahead to let the resort know what time we would arrive and had no problems at check-in. My husband went back the following morning to meet with the guest services reps and listened to a five minute speech about the resort, ticket offers, etc. He stated that he was not interested at the present time, but would think about it. The attendants were not pushy. Those who were unsure of what they wanted stayed a lot longer. Our room was very nice and even had a washer and dryer.
