Older resort but extremely well maintained.
Right on busy Hwy. 192 but quiet in unit and pool/beach area.

Some previous comments gave this place a raw deal.

It may not be brand new, but the Grand Resort was a fantastic choice for our recent vacation. Conveniently located on Hwy 192, just a mile from the I4 Disney exit, it's surrounded by restaurants and shopping on the front side and a quaint little lake on the back of the resort with free paddle boats for guests. The resort is also located right next to Golden Corral, one of the best buffets we've found in Florida. A Walgreens is also one block down for groceries if you're in the mood to cook.

Our room was a spacious two bedroom with two large bathrooms. Each bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and shower with steam bath. Everything inside the room was clean and well appointed. The kitchen had a full sized stove, refrigerator, and microwave for cooking. Having a family of five, it was nice to be able to cook a few meals and save some money. The staff was very helpful. There was also an internet area for guests with free use of the computers.

If you're looking for a location close to Disney with access to shopping and restaurants, this is a great place to try.

I'm somewhat upset at the reviewers who rated this place as a 5 star rating. I saw the mixed reviews here but decided to give this place a try. What an absolute mistake on my part. The rooms were done in an old motel style, with dated furnishings and decor. The staff were very non chalant and did not seem to care about not only your issues, but even their job itself. My room had small insects that would crawl at night - it was rather unnerving. This place needs a complete and utter overhaul both cosmetically and otherwise. I cannot possibly believe that other travellers rated this place as 5 star - I think tripadvisor.com should check these people out, because I'm certain it must be the person who owns this place, because there is no possible way that anyone could consider this motel, a 5 star resort. It's ridiculous. We checked out after the first night, and lost the next three nights stay. Now I have to try and figure out if we can get this money back -what a hassle! Nevertheless, we refused to stay more than one night at this claptrap establishment. Steer clear of here if you know what's good for you.

This place is great. The resort itself is quiet and secluded. It is located centrally on 192, no more than a mile from I-4. The staff was helpfull and courteous. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I had to most enjoyable time there. And along with offering discount tickets, the resort also plans activites for you and the kids to do if you don't feel like going to Disney or any of Orlando's other main attractions. I would reccommend this resort to anyone.
