“Who wouldn't like a brand new hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

We stayed here 5 nights in June. The hotel I believe is less than a year old and that was really nice. The rooms were nice and big and everything was clean and new. Like other Embassy Suites, the free breakfast and evening reception were nice. It was nice to fuel up before heading out to Disney.

The location was nice (away from the congested area of 192) and easy to get on the road to Disney. We enjoyed the one outdoor pool just one evening and it was really nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, though there was a little confusion with the 5am fire alarm and there was no communication or organization by the hotel staff to get us back up to our rooms (stairs to go back up were not available or clearly marked).

I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

My daughter and I were headed to Disney for Memorial Day weekend, we chose this hotel for location, and the prior reviews. The reviews were not wrong, the hotel is very nice...spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, great location to World Center Drive for access to the parks. The location also offers close proximity to shopping - an outlet mall, Wal-Mart, Publix - and several good restaurants. Embassy Suites is always a great choice with their excellent complimentary breakfast and evening reception. We will definitely stay here again!

Close to all the kiddie playlands of central FL but compared to other Embassy Suites, one of the weakest evening receptions. Breakfast was great and the rest of property top notch. As a westerner, I of course hate all the surrounding tollroads but did find that returning to the airport without paying is possible and only took maybe 5 minutes more than the normal GPS path.

centrally located... close to Disney, old town, downtown Disney... etc. right off of Osceola parkway ! There are lots of restaurants close by. IF YOU NEED TO BOOK A MEETING... this place has a huge convention center attached.... great restaurant, nice bar. very beautiful hotel. Free breakfast at embassy is wonderful, and they even have a free happy hour. Food choices at happy hour were... chips but the free drinks made up for it. The bar keeper there makes a homemade sangria that is tooooo wonderful ! great hotel, great area and it's just off the road so its quiet. great location and if you face the back of the hotel you can see fireworks from Disney !!! great pool area as well !!!!! will stay here again !!!!

Room Tip: get a room facing the back... you can see downtown Disney, epcot etc and can see the fireworks from...

Loved this hotel, it was close to restaurants and close to all amusement parks. Even close to an outlet mall. It is 10 stories tall, we stayed on the 9th floor, caddy corner from the elevator, and it was quiet with no foot traffic or noise from the lobby. Evening reception was nice, with drinks and a few snacks. Breakfast was good, with cook to order eggs, and an assortment of meats, potatoes, pancakes etc. Staff was very helpful as well. If there was one thing that needed looking into, it would be how to help the disabled in a fire alarm. The kitchen accidentally set off the alarm at 5 am, and we had to evacuate. My husband helped a gentleman carry his adult disabled son down from the 7th floor. By the time they got to the bottom, the poor dad was just about spent. There should be some kind of assistance offered for this type of situation.

Room Tip: Higher floors, and away from the elevators

All the rooms are suites and they are large and clean. The hotel is one year old only so it looks awesome. The buffet breakfast is great with big food variety. The room was ready ahead of time so they let us check in early. The whole hotel is very clean. The pool and the gym were nice too. Take advantage of the drinks and snacks from 5:30 to 7:30 pm everyday. The only problem was a false fire alarm at 5:30 am.

I always stay at Hiltons Business Hotels (points). They are usually good, comfortable, centrally located hotels. On June 17th I stayed at the Embassy Suites Orlando, Lake Buena Vista South . I was surprised to see that the hotel looked brand new, the restaurant was pretty good, breakfast was par for the course, the room was excellent and the staff was exceptional.

The Lake Buena Vista area is full of Disney hotels which is really overwhelming when you are a business traveler. Although right by the WDW this hotel kept it toned down and I didn't have to look at one Mickey Mouse. Again, the staff was excellent!

I'm marking this one down as a keeper and will frequent them again.
