I was looking for a Marriott Hotel in the Kissimmee area, and was told by Marriott to check into the Gaylord which they had just purchased. What a surprise. I had stayed at a Gaylord in Nashville, but never expected to find one here. It was a unexpected pleasure. A little pricey, but well worth the experience. It is a little smaller than the hotel in Nashville, but the same structure and design, with restaurants and bars all over the place. While Nashville had boats in the river through the lobby, they had alligators and fish here. Much more like a Florida experience !

All-in-all, a great facility. Enjoy.

I was at Gaylord attending a conference and stayed there for few days. The hotel is not in the city but not far from Shopping malls and the down town. It is quiet and good for business stay or if you are looking for a place for relaxation.

I only had a chance to stay one night, and next time will stay longer. The location is great, easy access, and close to theme parks. The front counter service was nice and friendly. I simply asked about an atrium view (which is very unique), and was upgraded for free. The christmas theme lights were well done. This hotel is owned by marriott now which offers great government discounts, as well as many promotions. I look forward to going back to explore more of the property soon.

Very beautiful hotel..the rooms were very spacious and the service was excellent. It was pretty noisy by our room, not sure if it was an elevator shaft that we heard or what. We didn't have a rental car so we started out being pretty dependent on the restaurants at the resort. There are no sidewalks that would allow you to walk somewhere. I guess you could if you really wanted to, but only in daylight.
We were a bit disappointed in the variety and the $$$ of each restaurant. We eventually took a cab to local spots to get out a bit. The free shuttle is nice, but only if you plan to be gone for 6 hours. If you want to eat out, you need to either order in (which didn't include a lot of choices) or take a minimum of a $25 round trip taxi.
There was a nice coffee shop where you could get breakfast....but allow time in the morning, because it is very busy!
Overall it was nice, but probably wouldn't go back.
