We went to ICE! Merry Madagascar just after it opened this year. We visited four years ago and the sculptures are more impressive but not very interactive. The kids were most looking forward to the slide but it wasn't slick so they had to scoot themselves down the slide. Between that and the extreme cold, the kids weren't impressed. As adults, we were very impressed by the sculptures but wish there were some way to do more than just walk through and look. The tickets, even with senior and FL resident advance purchase prices, were about $150 for 8 of us and that didn't include parking (additional $12/car) and hot chocolate. I'm glad we went early in the season because adding crowds to the experience would have decreased our enjoyment even further.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was everything else than boring. With our 3 year old child was action, fun and vacation guaranteed. While Mum was working did the rest, father and son, spend some quality time at the pool, in the restaurants, with the fishes and gators. It was great and impressive. My son would have rated it for sure with 5 stars but when it comes to SERVICE the place it`s just too big. Valet parking: It just took too long versus picking up your car at the car park around the corner for less money. Belldesk: It took forever ( 30 minutes) with pre order before someone came to pick up the luggage which resulted in a high speed race to the airport at 5am in the morning. Businescenter: We shipped some boxes to the hotel and asked prior to our visit for the procedure. No one told us about the 20 US charge per box in order to get your box. You never stop learning. Front Desk did not explain child policy in regards to kids eat free. We figgured. Let`s call it: Communication problems All in all a great experience with space for improvement

Mostly all good things to say about this hotel. The atrium is very nice with lots to look at while walking around. We ate at several of the restaurants and all were good. Some small things that you would normally expect for a 4 star rated hotel were missing.....such as, small thin bath towels, very poor water pressure, water is hot one minute and cold the next, very cheap blow dryer in room, and lumpy bed. Nothing really bad but if you are used to traveling at 4 or 5 star hotels you come to expect these little extras. Overall it was a good stay.

Stayed here in August. Arrived during a convention and check in took over an hour. really unacceptable. The pool area was too small for such a large convention crowd and it was standing room only in the pool.. way too many people in there so we did not get in, which was a disappointment since I choose the hotel for its pool area for the kids. The next day the conventioneers left. That night around 8:30pm, I wanted to look around the hotel atrium and it was eerie. very low lighting, no workers or security guards to be found, shops closed, and it felt unsafe walking through the area to check out the game room. Found the entire experience strange and uninviting. would not stay here again.
