“Good stadium, but out there”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

This is a nice spring training/minor league stadium, but it is really out there compared to some of the other parks (like Tampa). No restaurants or gas stations anywhere close

“We need to move out of Kissimmee”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

You have to remember that Texan's are happy with Texas and do not move to FL. That means we do not have the local crowds other teams do in Orlando. We get snowbirds. We are not snowbirds. We personally love Spring training and have traveled to many of the other teams locations to see the Astros play over the years. When you compare the staff, facility, food, drinks, shops,... There is NOTHING to compare. It is very clear that there is no "heart" in the staff at the Osceola Stad. they are there for a pay check. There is no warmth. Food is better with our new owner and there are more vendors. We have no "Texas BQ" or special Texas food or drink item... No thought is put into the place. The Astros store is still a joke! What person on vacation wants to deal with rude staff and stand in line for an hour to buy a new hat? I was over charged $50.00 and when I asked the cashier she was rude to me for her mistake! The grass in the field is brown! This is baseball. No love is given to the field. It is so sad that they do as little as possible for our stadium! Drive to see Bluejays, Yankees, Braves, Orioles, on and on..... Amazing places! Fun, clean, you leave wanting to return!
It is clear that they take pride in the area. The grounds are beautiful and the city or county is PROUD to host the team and have the revenue! In Kissimmee there are also -0- places to stop after the game. It is a dry, boring, plain place in the middle of an ugly little town. We need to move and have a beautiful stadium in a town that wants to make up happy and make it a win-win!
WE NEED TO MOVE!

“Fine little ballpark”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

OK, the Astros aren't very good, but don't let that keep you away from their cozy little Spring Training home. Sight lines are great, parking is easy, staff are friendly and helpful, and concessions are fairly priced and excellent. And if Kissimmee is your base of operations for a week of Spring baseball, there's plenty to do in the vicinity in the evening hours, and it's less pricey than the coastal locales or Disney.

“Enjoyable spring training facility”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

My husband and I spontaneously decided we wanted to see a spring training baseball game. We found that there was a game at Osceola County Stadium which is about 90 miles from our home, but we decided we'd do it. What a nice ballpark. The staff is very friendly and there is constant entertainment or music when the game is not in play. It's not a huge park but there is great visibility from about any seat. We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our day.
