“So Worth It!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Our family (including two children ages: 13 & 11) rented a two bedroom unit in the Grand Reunion Resort (the main building where the lobby/check-in is).

WOW, our unit was large, stylish, very clean, with amazing views out over the golf course from the inside and out on the wrap around balcony.

The children had their own bedroom which had two separate regular/queen beds and on suite bathroom (two sinks).

Between their bedroom and ours was: a separate kitchen (stainless steel appliances) with eating counter-top & barstools, dining table and chairs, living room area with TV/entertainment center, and... get this a "wet bar" area and tucked away a washer/dryer.

Our bedroom, with king sized bed, had its own balcony overlooking the golf range and a very large on suite bathroom with walk in shower, separate bath and separate his/hers sinks. All bedrooms had their own TVs, so no arguing over which channel to watch. The beds were all very comfortable and the air-conditioning just right!!!

They don't advertise it, but they have a lovely business center, where you can check-in & print boarding passes for your flight.

We stayed for seven nights and were able to book using the "Home Sweet Home" Special rates which were FABULOUS for a two bedroom unit of this quality. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent: sometimes the bathrooms were out of wash clothes, no one came in on our last day to tidy up, and on the last night we were out of toilet paper, we made do.

I found the Grand Resort building and adjacent facilities to be super clean, up to date, stylish and very appealing. I shouldn't forget to mention the valet parking, the attendees were super friendly, always welcoming and another big bonus was that valet parking was included in our room rate!!

The on site water park is very special if you are traveling with younger kids. I found the landscaping and property in general to be very aesthetically appealing. From Reunion you have easy access to gas stations, eateries, pharmacies etc., just outside the property boundaries. In particular we enjoyed visiting nearby Champions Gate and breakfast at the Paris Bistro there.

I have been traveling to Disney World for forty years and have stayed on and off property. This resort offers an unique experience. Spacious rooms, excellent pool choices far enough away from Disney to be out of traffic but also close enough to get their quickly. Our 3 bedroom unit near the water park was perfect. My wife and I were traveling with our two oldest children and their spouses and each had a baby. The kids had their privacy and we had ours. Rooms were quiet enough so when the babies needed to sleep or cry they has enough space not to disturb others. Off property dining is a bit limited but it exists. Looking forward to returning to this resort in the future.

Room Tip: Ask to be located near the water park.

This place is nice and remote away from the main hustle and bustle of Orlando...and if you are a golfer this is a great place to stay. They have a small water park on site suited for smaller children. I asked for a cup of ice water with an order I placed at the water park. The waitress smiled sweetly and said yes I can get you a cup of ice with your bottled water (for $3). A time share presentation was offered at checking with a gift card and future 2 day/3 day stay. The next morning we were called twice starting at 7:40am requesting that I attend the presentation that morning. Once I arrived they said they had made a mistake and to come back 11:30 but to call them, etc then said they could not do it and after waking me up and requesting I come no compensation was given for my time and inconvenience a first for a Wyndham, so needless to say I am very disappointed with such a nice place. Made me feel so uncomfortable I am not sure if I will return.

My family stayed here for a week during our annual summer vacation. We were a large group (8 adults, 2 children) and we stayed in a 3 bedroom Villa on the south end of the property, right around the corner from the water park. We used our Wyndham timeshare points. Check-in was smooth and the villa (condo) was large and spacious. We never felt crowded even with some many people. The living room and dining room were large enough to accommodate us at sit down meals and the kitchen was great.
During the week we visited several pools on property and like the one in our neighborhood better than the rooftop pool. The one connected to the fitness facility is the largest and nicest on property. The waterpark was excellent! We received 8 passes as a part of our package for the week and everyone had a great time. There was plenty for the kids and the adults to enjoy in the water and out. Food at the pool was good as well. The resort is large and serene. We never heard any neighbors and only saw golfers on the course occasionally. The patio furniture needed to be cleaned, but other than that, I have no complaints.
We visited family, area amusement parks and even went to the beach during our week in Central Florida. The location of the resort let's you get away from it all without having to travel to far to get in on the action! I would definitely return to Reunion Resort.

We stayed here for a week after a week at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Talk about night and day. Bonnet Creek was in the middle of the action, this place was a quiet and luxurious resort. The water park was great, and the staff, both the Wyndham and the Reunion staff, were excellent. We stayed in the South Villas, just around the corner from the water park. The units are awesome; the kitchen appliances are the best I've seen in a resort. The washer/dryer on the other hand, belong in a cheap hotel. The kitchen was missing some of the usual items, such as measuring spoons and a baking dish. Not the end of the world, but when I needed to measure out some ingredients, it was challenging.

The resort is huge. I'm not a golfer, but I do run, and I could get plenty of mileage in just running between the security gates. Unlike other Wyndham resorts, there was no pressure when we needed our parking pass, it was given to us at the gate by the security guard. The small Wyndham staff is attentive and provided us with their cell numbers to contact them during off hours.

There is an on premise shuttle, which we didn't use, but was available. I loved this resort!

We stayed in Wyndham's 3 bed and 3 bath condos. It was wonderful. The amenities are great and if you are a golfer it is paradise. The amenities have to be driven to which can be a pain with several children. The water park is just a fancy pool not a real water park.

It is beautiful and very upscale. It was so nice having such a large condo in a gorgeous setting.
Check in was great you get to sit at a desk and not stand in a line. It was the most comfortable check in process I ever been through. A plus resort

We recently rented several 3-bedroom condos in the Centre Court Ridge section of the resort for a family reunion. The condos were spacious and well equipped. The views of the golf courses were beautiful to wake up to. Our kids loved the pool and the waterpark. We rented directly from the owners and saved a lot of money that way. If you do that, make sure your unit comes with resort passes so you can use the waterpark and the golf courses. (Not all units come with passes) We found the resort to be well tended and the grounds were beautiful. It is in a good location, near enough to all the theme parks but far enough away that you can enjoy some peace and quiet too. One member of our group is a mad golfer and he said the golf lessons that he received were the best he ever had. All and all we were thrilled with the resort and the value we got for our money. I would recommend Reunion to others.
