“The Brits loved it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012 via mobile

I brought my daughter, her partner, grandchildren and of course my wife ( 40th anniversary) the house we stayed was excellent, serviced daily and the staff across the resort were fantastic, polite and great with the children. We are staying for two weeks but I wanted to write this review before we left. The numerous swimming pools were great and you could (on a clear evening) see the firework display at Magic Kingdom and Epcot from the hotel rooftop pool area and restaurant. We are 20 minutes from Disney, but the road network is quick and easy to follow. A fantastic stay so far and the water park at the resort is so good, I think the kids would have been happy just to stay here.....until of course they visited Disney.

My family and I stayed at this resort for 3 nights and we're definitely going back. The resort grounds was well kept, it was very big which resulted in us getting lost a few times.
Our three bedroom was clean and spacious. The hotel is centrally located and in close proximity to Publix, Pharmacies etc, which was ideal for our family.

The waterpark was great for the kids. We spent an entire day at the waterpark and I can honestly say the smiles on the kids faces made our vacation worthwhile. No doubt, we will stay again.

This was our second stay at Reunion, after visiting two years ago and having an amazing time we decided to return this summer for 12 days. Unfortunately, we weren't as impressed second time around, the resort is no longer tip free which we didn't realise until we arrived; however prices have not been reduced as a result and when it costs $6 for a ice drink at the waterpark we weren't particularly keen on adding a gratuity. We booked our holiday through Virgin Holidays and it specifically says that tips are included so please be aware that this is no longer the case!

We stayed in a four bedroom villa with pool which was well decorated and furnished with TV's in all rooms and plenty of space to put our clothes. We were also disappointed that there were no housekeeping items (i.e. dishcloth, washing powder, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets) for us to use although these were subsequently provided the housekeeping staff. However, when unloading the dishwasher it was noticed that although the staff had put the machine on they had not put a tablet in so nothing was actually clean. We also had a few problems with bobbly bed sheets some of which didn't even fit on the beds however, when we phoned to complain someone came quickly to deal with the situation. Towels were replaced daily and although we had problems we felt well looked after by the housekeeping staff.

The Waterpark did live up to our expectations and as before we spent many hours enjoying the lazy river and pool area. The resort was quiet which was nice as although the villas are all quite close together we had no noise from neighbours (as most properties near by were unoccupied).

Resort staff were generally helpful and overall we had an enjoyable stay visiting the Disney Parks and Seaworld and chilling out at the waterpark. The location of the resort is great for accessing the parks and and is still maintained to an exceptional standard. May return in the future although I think that we would explore other resorts as alternatives.

This was our second stay at the resort. We stayed in a three bedroom in the Seven Eagles section. We had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. We loved being able to go for long walks, and our grandchildren (aged two and four) had lots of sidewalk space for riding bikes. The water park was a big hit with the children. We all enjoyed the pool and lazy river. Our only complaint was that the dining table only had seating for four although the unit could easily accommodate up to eight guests. No flat screen TV's in this section, but we did have a TV in every room. The resort is just a short drive to the theme parks.

Room Tip: We like the Seven Eagle location because it has a large community pool, game room and pool table on...

We stayed at the Reunion Grande Hotel part of the complex in a 2 bedroom suite for 1 week ending 31 August.
The suite was excellent - spacious and well maintained. WIFI was easily accessible and even worked at the water park.
Spending most days at Disney, a 20 min drive or Universal , a 30 min drive we returned to use the waterpark where they offer free transportation from the hotel. The waterpark stayed open until 6 Sun-Thurs and until 7 on Fri and Sat. We ate in Eleven twice and the Clubhouse Grill twice. Both were good but we were surprised Forte was closed in what surely is high season. Eleven's food was good but has a limited menu and a further limited and expensive wine menu.
All the staff were well-trained and courteous. The hotel has a high level of service .
The grounds and lobby were immaculate and we used the tennis club, which after initial discussion became less expensive than it might seem once they tell you about the offers!
You need a car as the resort is spread out and we recommend you check your accommodation includes a resort card as some private villas don't seem to allow the rentee to access all the services
If we return to Orlando would seriously consider staying again particularly if they add a little more focus to the onsite dining options

Room Tip: High up offers best views

The resort property was well taken care of, as were the units, themselves. We stayed in a second floor, three bedroom deluxe villa on Cabana Ct. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were all open to each other, which made it great for keeping an eye on children while cooking a meal in the well-appointed kitchen. The first bedroom had two twin beds and a shared bathroom. The next bedroom had a queen and a private bathroom, while the master suite had a large tiled shower and moderately sized garden tub. Also, the master suite provided access to the balcony, as did the living room. The decor was neutral and relaxing. Every bedroom and the living room had nice Samsung flat screened television sets. My only complaint regarding the unit was the incredibly difficult to work washer and dryer. I'm not sure where they were made, but I've never had such a hard time washing clothing! Finally, the water park on site is is great! Small enough to allow your children a little more free roam, yet big enough to not get bored within the first hour. So, finally, I would recommend staying at Reunion Resort. It was about ten to fifteen minutes from the Disney gate, and five minutes from the strip on 192. Great vacation spot!

Hi,
Stayed and rented a 5 bedroom condo - 2 family's sharing.
The rooms were big and had all the gadgets, although the entertainment equipment was dated a little.
The grounds were in pristine condition.
The location is great for getting to everywhere, just enough away from the hussle of the day and some where nice to retire to for the day.
There stores and amenities just off site are handy too.
As mentioned in the headline - when you are paying a pricey premium to stay here ... You want perfection, you do not expect a fight with little things...
We had issues with the cleanliness of the condo... A cleaner with a hover is a basic, no excuse for not using , after a few days the play looks grubby.
BBQ... Broken, never fixed and dirty on arrival, also no gas ready to start with.. All this involves phoning reception to resolve.. Not what your hol is about when you pay premium prices. .. They then explain someone will sort right away.. Then requires further calls for that to happen.
The on site water park shutting at 5 pm!!! That's the time it should be opening for when returning from your day out.
Being charged $20 for an hour court hire! To be fleeced like that on top of paying for the resort a little cheeky... Don't take the Micky out of your already paying customers.
Overall a nice place. But you can get this for a lot lower price elsewhere. Some other resorts want your custom more and will go out of the way to do so.
So in my opinion reunion needs to up their game or lower it's prices !!
