Stayed there during Sport Diver Spiney Lobster season July-Aug 2003. Nothing fabulous but was clean, staff friendly. Not of the quality that "Ramada Inn's" have a reputation of. ?? maybe independently owned??

The website for this hotel states there is a 24 hour restaurant on the property. There is not. It says there is a lounge on premises. There is not. There are supposed to be safes in the rooms. There are not. We had to clean cobwebs from the walls upon arrival. Toll free access is supposed to be free. I was charged. The rooms resemble a "no-tell motel" in unsatisfactory condition. How they get away with using the Ramada name mystifies me.

It looked nice online when we booked the hotel. But when we arrived, we discovered a plethora of atrocities! The rooms smelled and were dirty, with unfinished construction throughout the hotel including our bathroom. The towels had holes chewed through them. Washing machine was broken, ice machine out of service, the restaraunt was closed indefinitely, vending machines out of service, and more... We checked out immediately and the staff was rude including the management who gave us a hard time about leaving. Luckily I snapped some photographs and got a refund from Expedia. After a few cocktails across the street to recover from the shock, we checked into the hotel right next door...

Despite some scary reviews our family stayed there for 3 days in Dec 2003. The hotel was clean (cleary in the renovating process) , the pool and our room were large and we had a refrigerator .

There is a sunning deck and picknick tables now in the back facing the bay.

Considering the price that other hotels were charging around, this was a clean, no frill deal. It was booked solid during that week.

We will go back.

I stayed here for 3 nights in July. It was very disappointing. There were pet droppings by the pools, plumbing the often did not flush, and other less than standard conditions. Upon check out I was charged over $100 extra per night than my reservation quoted. When I finally presented my printout, they said their computere automatically charged the current rate. I asked what was the advantage of booking so far in advance. Outside were lots of loud groups cooking on the lawn who were partying until well after midnight. I know it's their vacation, but quiet is everyone's right. I have stayed in several Ramada's and this was the most disappointing stay. Rooms are large, but that's the main advantage.
