We stayed in the keys for a week, eating out at least 3x times a day. We're from Vancouver, and were craving sushi on our last night (sashimi- we ate fish quite a bit, but we wanted it uncooked!).
Boy, am I glad we found this place. My partner, who is incredibly hard to please food wise, complained we didn't find it on our first day, so we could have gone every night. That's how I felt. He has the sashimi, and a couple fo rolls. I opted to go for a special house Thai dish, after a neighbouring table had it delivered. It was chicken, and tasted heavenly.
This place is a hole in the wall- if you aren't looking for it,you'll pass it right by. It also remind me of Vancovuer restaurants- looks like it was set up on the fly, with Office depot tables and ikea chairs. But it was packed- probably with locals, who know it's true value. We'll definitely be back!
I almost gave it 4 stars due to the decor, but changed my mind. Once you start eating, you forget where you are.
