“Good weather only”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

The food is fresh and well prepared, although a bit pricey. The atmosphere is that of a dock-side fish market. Don't expect nice tables and cloth napkins, think picnic tables and paper towels. They are supposedly famous for the Lobster Rueben, which is very good. Only go if the weather would be perfect for a backyard cookout, because you are essentially outside the whole time here. Don't go after dark as you won't be able to enjoy much of the marina sites and activities that make this place what it is.

“Possibly the best seafod in America!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We stopped and ate both on the way down as well as on the way back up. This is a seafood shack so you don't come here for ambiance. Although the views of the ocean are to die for. You come for the seafood. And this place delivers. Probably my favorite seafood ever and I eat it all acorss the world. The Lobster Reuben may be the best sammy ever made. This is a must do!

“Surprisingly impressed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Having eaten at several seafood shacks/restaurants in the keys I know what to expect. They all for the most part do good, simple seafood well, with reasonable to slightly high prices. The reason I was so impressed with this location was that the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service as well as providing great seafood at reasonable prices. My GF ordered sauteed lobster and received 3-4 decent sized tails cooked well, as in tender and flavorful, along with the usual potato & steamed veg. I had some delicious and well seasoned steamed shrimp and a very tender grilled fish sandwich. The bay front location was quiet and clean and the bartender gave us some fish scraps to feed the school of tarpon swimming by our table, very neat for me even though I had done it before and my GF LOVED it.

“Yum !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

This place is under rated on Trip Advisor. We ate here twice on our trip to the Keys this December. The grouper and hogfish were incredible. We had them both fried and blackened. The fish was superb. It's a great little spot to take kids. Very low key. Amazing views at sunset and free shots ! It was a top notch experience ! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check out this spot. It's fabulous, great food, nice people and a top notch experience. Casual but perfect for a family. Do not miss this stop !
