This hotel has a lot of potential and could give you great value for money in an excellent location if they could just clean the rooms. The place is far from clean with left over paper plates with dried food under sofa beds and empty crisp packets under units. Bedding is ripped and looked unwashed, I stripped the beds and washed the sheets myself just to ensure they were clean. Sofa bed needs either replaced or resprung and the sofa cushion covers are in need of a wash, gave you a greasy feeling just looking at them. The suite balconies are massive and have a fantastic view although this is spoiled every so often by the smell of fuel when the water sports business below fills up their jet skis. The smell even wafts up as far as the pool area. The ocean view basic rooms actually have no balcony furniture at all which is a waste. I understand that sometimes when items are in need of replacement they can look dirty but this is not the case here, the place is just in need of a really good clean. Be careful if you use the garbage chute after it rains, the area is filled with dirty water.

We had read the reviews and they were good so decided to go here. We went for 11 days, Jan. 23 to Feb. 3.. We booked a suite with them because we were going to be there so long. The room was wonderful and the view of the ocean was great. They were redoing the suite below us and for the entire time we were woke up between 7 and 8am to hammering. The noise was so bad my daughter called and I couldn't talk due to the noise. This went on all day long the whole time we were there. The only peace we had was at night. We were suppose to be on vacation sleep in and enjoy ourselves but that was not to happen here. We spent $2.500 for this suite and feel we were taken advantage of, they new about the noise but didn't care. If you are going to stay here I would definitely find out if they are tearing down any rooms before you book. The room was really nice but the noise was horrible. This experience has made me feel violated and our next vacation I will be afraid to book ahead, these guys had our money and we were screwed.

We booked in part because of reviews here and the low price. We wouldn't recommend to others, based on our Christmas 2006 experience. Although billed as a "resort" there wasn't much of a resort feeling -- no food service, no common areas, no easily accessible pool, and no beach access. We stayed in the 4-floor front quarters with a decent view of the beach. The room was acceptable -- but no comfortable chair to sit in in the room. And tiny plastic chairs on the terrace. A few guests who rented ski-boats seemed please with their experience.

If you're looking for a kitchenette and a quiet, clean room on the beach, the condos are very nice.

Staff was helpful, even with a late arrival. You can rent jet skis and boats here as well. This isn't the Four Seasons, but for the price, how could it be? We spent most of our time diving, so all we really needed was a decent place to sleep and this place was perfect for a fair price.
