Wonderful hosts, very friendly, yes it is an older motel from another era but it was clean and everything needed was provided. The location is very good, and the price was much lower than most options in the area. We enjoyed our too brief stay and would recommend this motel - Cindy and Mike were great hosts who really wanted us to make ourselves at home. We didn't get to see the Manatees, and that was our only disappointment.

My daughter and I spent a few restful nights here in early April, and she says it was her favorite motel on the entire trip.
The key here is to adjust your expectations. For example, there were dog prints in our bathroom, and the lock on the door is a plain dead-bolt like you'd find on an interior garage door. The ceiling fan didn't have any kind of cover over it. But all these things didn't make one iota of difference to me. We had fun, and it felt like our second home, and for the price we paid, we're more than pleased.
The owners were just getting over the flu (who knew they had flu in the Keys?) but their dogs were more than happy to greet us every day!
We'll be back for certain.

We had been travelling around Florida for a week or so and had been staying in budget chain motels, which were fine for a night or so, but the Conch on Inn was such a welcome break from the efficient but impersonal service we had been used to. As soon as we arrived Cindy welcomed us with a friendly smile and gave us all the information we needed to make our stay in Islamorada a successful one. She also helped out booking a morning's fishing for my husband which was incredibly helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, ok the fittings are old and the AC is a bit noisy, there are a few cracked tiles here and there but the friendly atmosphere more than made up for this. We were also lucky enough to see manatees in the little bay the motel sits on which has to be the highlight of our stay! The Conch on Inn is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a friendly home from home, and, as Cindy told us "it's the cheapest place to stay in Islamorada"

If you're looking for a cozy, budget-friendly getaway, this is your place! We were welcomed by Cindy with open arms and four wagging tails of her sweet girls. The room was extremely well-kept, clean, and inviting. We were only there for one night but would've definitely stayed longer. Highly recommended!

The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. She gave us a list of places to eat, all which were great. The rooms are spacious enough for two adults and one kid. We stayed in room 3. My only dislike was the bed. It was very hard. But my husband loved the bed, so it's just a matter of preferences. We definitely would stay here again, and plan to when we come back to the Keys.

Great little place to stay at. The owners are awesome. It's a make yourself at home kind of place. The price was right too. 90 miles to Key West but it's a great drive. Wish we stayed longer and had a chance to attend one of the parties.

What a wonderful place to stay! Cindy could not have been nicer! We were late getting there, they left the key out and called and left me a message to let me know what was going on. They also left a list of restaurants, which included type, price range and which ones had a sunset veiw. We made new friends in the 4 very nice, well behaved dogs. It really felt like we were at families house, or even better, with friends! If I am lucky enough to go back I would definitely stay a the Conch on Inn. Only bad part of this stay was having to leave so soon!
