“Very interesting and well directed self tours. but watch out for the poisonwood.”
This is a great state park showing how and where the coral formations were cut out and blocked to ship for buildings.
Lots of nature trails to hike but beware of the Poison wood trees.
If you are allergic to poison ivy, oak, or sumac, beware of the relative of the Cashew nut tree. Its likely ten (10) times worse than any of the others. If the wind is blowing (when isn't in the Keys) you can get it and never touch anything.
