“Pleasant stroll along the ocean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

This is as close to "walking the beach" that I found in the Keys. Wooden walkway along a beach area. There is a small parking lot at each end of the walkway. I don't recall that there were stairs, so this would be accessible for anyone in a wheelchair. Leisurely walk took us about 10-15 minutes each way. Plenty of picnic tables to stop and eat or soak up the ocean smell & view. Didn't really see much beach that you'd want to lay a towel down on.

“Nice walking trails.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

The view here was beautiful, and there were some very nice walking trails. The beach itself is tiny, like most in the area.

“Small, shallow, but quiet and relaxing ”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

We had drove by Anne's beach to find some hermit crabs... Unfortunately no crabs, and the beach is small with a lot of washed up plant debris scattered everywhere. There were already a number of people laying around to sunbathe. No amenities available here. Nice to see if you're on the way, but nothing special here. I can see why people say it's good for dogs, as the water is shallow, but you'll need water shoes.

“Where's the beach????”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

Not much of a beach here. About two feet of sand and then it turns to mud once in the water. The water is clear but it turns murky from the mud that gets kicked up when you walk. Does not do the word beach any justice.

“Fun Walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Anne's Beach is a small hideaway in the middle of the keys. It's not a large beach, rather small actually, but a beautiful and unforgettable walk among nature. It has a boardwalk that follows the shoreline, with spots to get in the water along the way. Keep your eyes open and you'll see crabs, water birds, lizards and more. The water feels so good after the walk.
