One of my best friends was married at Pierre's a few months ago. It was one of the nicest weddings I have attended. The wedding ceremony was held on the beach amidst the pending sunset, which was just beautiful. The reception followed immediately where the staff tended to the guests with multiple platters of appetizers and drinks. The food (appetizers and dinner) were amazing! Seriously, 5 star food, drink and service. I only have good memories of Pierre's and would definitely go back if only for a dinner during a relaxing weekend. Cheers, Pierre's!

First off, I want to respond to one of the reviews below. I was a bride and chose Pierre's for my wedding also. The "wedding planner" (isn't really a wedding planner - he is the "Event Designer" for Pierre's which includes all events, not just weddings), David Shine, is the consummate professional and carries out every minute detail of the bride's wishes. He is not rude, but will make sure things run smoothly and accurately and within the proper time constraints -- e.g. making sure the bride is on time, the guests are on time and seated accordingly, and if the invitation says the ceremony starts at 5:30 then the ceremony will start at 5:30 and not one minute later.

All that being said, I, my husband, and all of our guests had the most wonderful, amazing time at our wedding at Pierre's. The location and ambiance of the restaurant provide a fairy-tale setting for the most perfect wedding. The food is 5-star and incredible -- not your typical wedding food, by far. The staff is formal, professional, and very attentive. I truly appreciate their hard work for my slighly "rowdy" crowd, and I appreciate them saving us a platter of hors d'oeuvres since we didn't get to sample any during the cocktail hour (photos). They were delicious! Again, David is wonderful and helped me with so much from pre-wedding anxiety to shooing away boaters trying to dock at the restaurant during the reception.

I can't say *enough* good things about Pierre's. I visited there on multiple occasions prior to the wedding and will continue to visit whenever I can. It is truly worth going to if you are ever in Islamorada, the upper Keys, or South Florida. I highly recommend eating there...and its adjoining restaurant, Morada Bay Cafe.

“Most Perfect Night”

After reading the reviews, I decided to dine at Pierre's. My night couldn't be any more perfect. Staff were extremely nice and helpful, knowledgeable recommendations from Lynn, my server, was exceptional. From my wine, to stone crab, to hogfish, to port wine, it was flawless.
The restaurant was love at first sight, tucked away from Overseas HWY 1, elegant decor with indonesian/floridian interior, you will forget where you are! The outside seating couldn't be anymore romantic which overseeing the beach, it will melt you away. The whole experience is phenomenal for anyone who is on a wishes to get away from the everyday hustle-bustle. Spare no expense and enjoy yourselves when you dine here. Or, just come for a drink. You'll love it. Port wine is a must. This is a must when in Islamorada.

I attended a wedding and reception here. The wedding was nice and the set up on the beach was good. However, my husband and I were helping setting up some equipment as requested by the bride and everytime we had to interact with the wedding planner he was very rude to us. He was also rude to my sister before the wedding. She was staying with her 2 year son since he was in the wedding party. He kept saying "Come on friends either join the wedding party or go sit outside" She obviously couldn't just leave him. He is one of the people that come off fake all the time. The staff was also rude when my husband sent back his rare steak that he had ordered medium well.

Have wanted to eat here for years and never had the opportunity. My husband and I sailed down from Miami and made it our goal to get there for dinner before heading back up north. We were surprised it was so easy to get reservations for the Fri night after Thanksgiving, considering its a big weekend for the Keys. Read the reviews on tripadviser and decided to splurge. The location of the restaurant is ideal, waterfront with a wide expanse of white sand and connected to another smaller more casual restaurant. Ambiance is great. A large two story key west-plantation style structure with a nice wrap around porch on both floors. Tikki torches all around the property make for a romantic setting. Definately eat outside on the veranda if possible. But be warned smoking is permitted on the veranda. Food was average at best as was the service. (we had seafood and pork) Prices are mid 30s for entrees, salads are $12 and soups $10. A good wine by the glass is $11. The biggest surprise was the that the service was so average. Nothing personal at all and we were never asked how the meal was or if we wanted another glass of wine. Bread that was promised with the salad did not arrive on time, the side veggies were not impressive at all. Definately not what we anticipated after reading reviews of great service on trip advisor. Even when making the reservation, when asked about coming in by boat we received a very unhelpful reply and no effort to even find an answer for us. Average at best - not worth the expense. My advise is go into the bar on the first floor and have a drink to get a look around. Then eat dinner at one of the several nearby restaurants; the casual place next door, one at the Worldwide Sportsman, or across the street at Lazydays.
