We went here to watch the sunset on evening. There was a great band playing and the drinks were fine, but nothing special. If you just want to chill out and watch the sunset from the best spot in the keys, go here for cocktails and dinner somewhere else.
Lor-e-lei is a pretty good restaurant, great atmosphere, next
to the water and very friendly staff. Great place to go when
getting out of Miami.
The Lor-e-lei used to be a great locals joint. Good food and great drinks and bands. Now that it has turned into the lor-e lei bar and yacht club it's just another tourist clip joint. I asked for extra crackers with my fish dip and was actually charged for them. Yikes. I grew up going here and add this place, along with the Fish Co., to places that have lost it's local following.
i must say that the lorelei is on my top ten favorite restaurants in florida. the view was spectacular and the service was outstanding. our waitor tony was so friendly and out going. the yellow tail snaper special was out of this world. thanks lorelei for the great night.
Found this place only on past reviews and thought it was time to write my first review.....and finally took the plunge to sound out this place & enjoy the food,(...to much food) drink & sunset....and the staff (tony) was most accomadating,good service and pleased my wife & kids enjoyed my selection...would recomend again.
