You can't help but be impressed with the stunning setting of the Cheeca Lodge and one of its restaurants - Atlantic's Edge. It sits right on the water and is covered overhead, yet open on all sides. It's a white table cloth experience, to be sure, but at its high price point, the food should be much better. I had the grilled monkfish, which, while fresh, was completely tasteless, as was the chopped tomato salad and the cole slaw. My friend had fish tacos, which she said were OK. The appetizers were quite good, as was the wine, but at $130 for two people for lunch, the food should be great...and it isn't. The service was good, and I already commented on the setting, which is why I rated the restaurant 3 stars, not two.
