Best burger we've had since being in Florida! We also had the soup of the day.....awesome :)
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a local hamburger with local flair.

“No wonder they are #1 - the food was GREAT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

The bad news is that they can only seat max @34 pl, and it was so busy that they could barely keep up with the peak holiday volume. The good news is that the two servers/staff were extremely apologetic, hustled like their lives depended on it, and made a difficult situation completely tolerable (well done!) As a result, I could never fault them for the wait. I'm so glad we didn't bail because the food was excellent. The Slice salad was fantastic - delicious dressing, bacon & blue cheese. Do yourself and get at least one order of the lobster mac & cheese - it was out of this world. Really enjoyed the cheeseburger and the French fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. Strongly recommend you give it a try. Note to manager - suggest you increase the number of your kitchen and serving staff so you can churn people in & out faster = happy customers and more $$$ for you ;-)

“A favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

My wife and I keep a list of "legendary". This made it. A "hole in the wall" that you will probably drive by 3 times before you find it. The burgers and, add a beer, are spectacular. The bun says it all. Here's to you MEAT.

“Little treasure in Islamorada”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

Just discovered this little gem on Islamorada. Mac/Cheese lobster was wonderful, and lobster roll was filled with fresh local lobster. Grandkids enjoyed the shoestring onion rings, burgers and friend chicken. Server was friendly and help with our dinner choices. Will definitely return....

“Don't believe the hype.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013 via mobile

I really cannot understand the buzz generated for this place. Ordered the Bratwurst Sandwich. Instead of receiving a nicely grilled brat (Hey chef! Are you familiar with the concept of caramelization?) it had the appearance and texture of being boiled. A sandwich of this type needs a roll with some structure, not the wimpy supermarket style "hot dog" roll that they serve. With kraut the whole thing turns into a gloppy mess before you can finish. Come on, this isn't rocket science. Just culinary common sense.

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your bratwurst and the sauerkraut made it too soggy for you. Our sausages are never boiled and we use fresh rolls from a bakery not a "supermarket roll" so we are confused about your bad experience. We do grind and case our own sausages and grill them to order and have received amazing reviews from locals and travelers alike. All of our food is either made in-house or is the highest quality products we can get in the Keys. We make our own bacon, pork rinds, ketchup and mustard and even our own ice cream. We wished you could have sampled some of our other foods and at least spoke to your server about your experience, we would have gladly given you another sandwich for you to enjoy - it is our policy. Please contact us and we'll take care of you for a lunch, if you are down diving in the Keys in the future.
