First things first! I was actually blown away that when I ordered a water they gave it to me in paper to go cup! What is this fast food? Step it up.
Now for being know or recommended as a burger place, I thought they would of had a larger selection of Burgers. There were 3 chocies on the menu, two of which are the same, only the portion size changed. Then its seems they have the Juciy Lucy on special all the time since I've read about on several post. Which is fine, but get creative! M.E.A.T get a little more edge and give us some choices.
I ordered the Inside out Juicy Lucy, thinking that the bacon and chz would be inside the burger but it wasn't. To be honest I didn't even see any bacon.
We asked for onion rings on the burger and the server said they didn't have any. However, on the brisket sandwhich just so happened to be topped with onion rings??? So I'm a little confused.
I's say the place is average and you have some cool ideas but up the game a little and put a little more finese into it.

M.E.A.T. is a Gourmet Fast Food concept, we do serve our microbrewed soft drinks, iced teas and water in paper cups, we have counter service and a large amount of carry-out. As a new restaurant we are still finalizing our menu and expanding & changing our selections. Some of the specials that we've been running like the "Juicy Lucy" stuffed Burger and the Turkey Burger will be added permanently to our menu as we expand the Burger selections.
But MEAT is not only burgers, our creativity is also focused on the house ground and cased Sausages, homemade Brisket and Porchetta, as well as the other items that we actually make in house like the Mango Chipotle Ketchup, Beer Caraway Mustard, Molasses Beer BBQ sauce, our ice creams and many others.
We wanted to thank you for your suggestion about the onion rings. We did not have them on the menu and had made up a small batch to use on the Brisket (not enough to serve as a side). But since you mentioned it we've begun to make extra and sell them and they are quite popular.
We hope you stop back to join us again and try some of our new items coming out at the end of this month and in December.
