We stayed in the standard room, #4. Don't let the price or the photograh on the webcite fool you, the room was clean, spacious and quiet. No coffee pot, but you can walk across the parking lot and get all the coffee you need. Staying at a marina is unique. Every morning we stepped outside, sat on the picnic table and watched the place come alive with guides getting their boats ready and anglers getting on board. We scheduled one fishing trip with a guide and it was great to walk from the boat to our room afterwards. We were exhausted. No pool. No beach. No five star restaurant on the property. But, the cafe is handy and serves good food. You can sit and eavesdrop on the guides talking about fishing trips. You can walk to one of the best restaurants in Islamorada, Lazy Days, and have you catch cooked. Lazy Days is guide recommended. Bud 'N Mary's is worth a night or two when you come to Islamorada and must if you are going fishing.
