This was our first stop on our 3 week holiday to Florida and it couldn't have been a better place to stay.
The accomodation was first class. We had a massive house on the poolside with a huge veranda that ran all the way around the property with beautiful, comfortable chairs so that i could sit, read my book, sip a cocktail and watch the children in the pool.
The inside of the house was spotlessly clean, the beds were fantastically comfortable and the bathrooms were pure luxury!
I would highly recommend 'The Caribbean Resort' for anyone wanting a base to explore the Keys and for UK residence it is definitely worth making the effort to telephone and make reservations. Don't book anywhere else on Islamorda - I wish we had stayed longer!!

After much review of lodging options in Islamorada for our spring break vacation I booked this resort. The entire family, including grandparents loved the Caribbean Resort. It was simple, yet beautiful. We loved the pool and thought it was the perfect temperature. I've read the other reviews and can only add that we were there in March before the Florida summer heat. The pool finish is dark and probably attracts the heat from the sun. Perhaps this is not the perfect SUMMER resort if you plan to swim in the pool. The cottages are very nice and adequately equipped. I love to cook, even on vacation, and found the gas grill to be a nice benefit. The resort is so small and intimate that you often feel like you have it all to yourself. We were often the only people in the pool. The daily maid service was a nice surprise. I did notice that the units could be loud if you had kids or kept the TV volume up. We spent most of our time outside (enjoying Islamorada and kept the kids busy outside) so any noise wasn't an issue for us. I can't wait to go back.

We LOVED this place! We stayed in a small villa (no view) and it was nice, a two minute walk to the water and the dock, a two minute walk to the pool. The pool is amazing, so beautiful and love the beach entry! One of the best pools we've seen.

The docks were great for fishing or just looking out over the water. We even saw some kids catch a shark at night!

Islamorada is a beautiful island and Caribbean Resort at Sea Isle is a great place to stay. Although we didn't stay in the larger villas or the family size houses, they looked amazing and it would be a great getaway for a larger family vacation.

rooms were great very beautiful and clean,staff very freindly,but the pool was almost too hot to swim in ,after second day my boys had heat rash from the pool being too hot ,and we ask the staff too turn heat down and they looked at me and said welcome too florida now ive lived in florida all my life ands had a pool most of the years,and our pool was never that hot ,,well gottoo say staff very freinlly,except the one man,,,docks were great ,and boat decks veiw wea beautiful,,,,,but will never stay again me and my husband work and save so we can enjoy life.but we didnt enjoy the pool
