I hesitate to write this review, as I want to keep this marvelous place to ourselves! This is our new, favorite extended weekend getaway. Casa Morada is luxurious for what it is NOT, as its simplicity might not appeal to everyone. It is serene, secluded, quiet (no small children allowed). The pool area is wonderful w/ comfortable seating & lounging areas. The small size of the hotel makes it very personal; the staff is friendly and very helpful. Great to have kayaks & bicycles @ our disposal too; we biked several times to the end of the street to Lor-e-lei's for a beer & a sandwich (great casual spot, BTW), as well as a bike ride across the way on the Old Highway. There are several interesting kayak destinations close by, as well as snorkeling; unfortunately, while we were there, Hurricane Sandy was just getting underway & it was too windy for either. The rooms are airy, minimal, simply decorated in a way that is sophisticated. Live orchids in each room is a really nice touch. Every room contains an assortment of books to read if you forgot yours at home. Everywhere you will find little touches like these, which indicate the level of care taken to make your stay enjoyable. We will be back often, I hope!

Casual, relaxing, sophisticated. This is a quiet, romantic resort with lush landscaped grounds on the bayside of Islamorada. It's walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Free kayaks, paddleboard, bikes. Great pool. And the bar is perfect for sunset! Service is outstanding as well.

Another blissful stay at Casa Morada. This place is truly fantastic. Tucked away, quite and peaceful on the Gulf. It is a great place to get away and totally relax. Totally low key and chill this is not a loud party place. The resort is right on the Gulf allowing for spectacular sunsets from the island and some rooms. The grounds and landscaping are absolutely beautiful and the design contributes to the very private feel each room gets. We have stayed in four different rooms at Casa Morada now and loved them all. Each is a little different, deep soak Jacuzzi tubs, outdoor shower, large outdoor deck etc. The free breakfast is great in the morning and the lunch options at the restaurant are all good. They even have a sailboat for sunset cruises. The staff is fantastic, all very pleasant, super accommodating and very professional. This is what hospitality is all about!

Quiet clean boutique hotel right in the middle of islamorada. Children not permitted must explain why it's so nice and quiet, some rooms have an outdoor shower, friendly staff, nice island with bar and pool, small boat friendly with boat ramp and harbour. Great location on the water on the bayside. Beautiful a sunsets, complimentary kayaks, bikes, snorkeling, gear, and more. Pet friendly ($35 pet fee) they give you a fog bed and bowls. Very nice complimentary continental breakfast.
Great place to getaway for a couple days, I don't want to leave I wish I could stay forever.
