We are a family of 5 (two teenagers and a 7 year old) It was our last dinner in Key West before we headed back home from Spring Break. My husband had been to Pepe's for lunch earlier in the week and said it was by far his favorite sandwich of the week.
I watched a spot on the Key West channel about Sarabeth's and really wanted to go there ,but was not sure with 3 kids. So being our last night we decided to try Pepe's for dinner. Myself and the two older boys got there first and requested a table ,sat down went over the menu and before my husband got there with our youngest ,we left . I said we are going to Sarabeth's . We called to make sure there was not a wait. We were greeted by the owner (recongnized him from the TV) and sat inside. Again my husband and youngest were to follow. Not sure it was the best place to take kids ,but they were well behaved and we were treated GREAT. I must say, with 3 boys we never order dessert ,but after we all saw the table next to us get dessert we too ordered it and it was the best STAWBERRY SHORTCAKE I ever had. It was ECELLENT. I must say it was one of my Favorite meals in KEY WEST and will definilty go back.. I look forward to a breakfast there.
