Walk right in one of the wide open windows. Take a few minutes to relax. Nice place to think wonderful thoughts away from the hurry-scurry of Key West. I had to make a three block effort to see it, but glad I did. And it made the Catholic section of the cemetery more meaningul.
This is a wonderful church with very friendly people. The main church is a wonderful place to stop and say a prayer or attend service. There is an outdoor grotto where you can light a candle and say a prayer. There is also a lovely garden with the stations of the cross, a very nice place for reflection and thought.

Attended Mass here this past Sunday while visiting Key West. Felt welcomed from the first moment we enetered the church. The grounds are so tranquil. Beautiful Grotto, Rosary Garden, and permanent Stations of the Cross Garden. Not to be missed.
We visited the Saint Mary Star of the Sea Church after learning that it is featured in a James Bond movie. We had passed it several times during our City Tour trips and wanted to see the Grotto up close. It is a beautiful church to check out while there.
