Beautiful butterfly colors (lots of variety of butterflies), and an extremely unique experience. Definitely a must do in Key West!

“Tranquil Respite from Duval Street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

I took my 14 year old daughter here. The place is very cozy, polite, calm and nice. Great for a tranquil break from the tacky T-shirt and flip-flop shops and boozy ambiance of Duval Street. This is not the Smithsonian or Chicago's Field Museum, but a nice smallish facility with fairly large gift shop. You walk among thousands of beautiful butterflies that periodically land on you. Good for pre-teens or older adults who want a break.

“A butterfly on your shoulder?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Ever have a butterfly land on your shoulder? Here you will. Although its a bit pricey, it is worth it. Great work by the staff to create and maintain.

“Butter Than Expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Very nice take-in. Yes, it's not cheap, and the conservatory is not enormous. But we definitely felt it was worth the price. Pick a place next to one of large flowering plants, and the butterflies will be flitting by your face. We stayed for about thirty minutes, and probably saw 30 different types of butterflies and birds The garden itself was beautiful, and the people working there were knowledgeable. We blew through the store without buying anything, though the eccentric owner chased us down to stick paper butterflies on our shoulder.
