“Excellent Tapas and sangria!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Great place to sit outside, hear the roosters, and have a pitcher of sangria and ceviche. This place can't be beat for outstanding Tapas.

“Thought we took a wrong turn, bit...”

What an "off the beaten path" place! Cold water awaited us as we checked in, the food was AMAZING and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. My first Tapa experience, but not my last. A must visit.

“A Great Recommendation...Happy We Followed Through!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

During our visit to Key West one night we ate at Blue Heaven (review to follow) and our server Justin (who was outstanding) made the recommendation we should eat at this restaurant down the street as it is one of his favorites on the island. So the next evening the four of us ate here and we were very, very, very, happy we did! Again Happy Hour did not disappoint and the Tappas were nothing short of amazing! We ordered: Clams, Skewers of beef, Empanadas, and the Crab Cakes. Each and every dish was better than the last as we did not want it to end. Also the Sangria was excellent along with the variety of beers that were on tap. Our Server Eric was a gem who paid great attention to us and attended to our every need. He knew the menu and made several excellent suggestions to us which proved to be culinary delights. This is a must for all who plan to visit Key West.

“Yummmm!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

Food was delicious! Not a single thing was bad. Loved the white sangria and if you like bread pudding you have to try theirs! Would suggest making reservations, we didn't and had to wait.

“Delicious tapas that are worth the walk!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

When people say Santiago's is off the beaten path, it's true! We weren't staying in Key West and had trouble finding parking since Santiago's is in a residential area. After finding parking and walking over, we were hoping this place would be worth it, and it was! The inside is very warm, rustic, and modern, and quite small, so I would definitely make reservations (we did). There is outside seating, but your view is a run-down residential area. Our waiter was wonderful - friendly, informative, and attentive. We had the Avocado and Pear Salad, which was very good. I had the red sangria, and we discovered that between 3-6pm they have Happy Hour which means half-priced drinks and a selection of 4 $5 tapas. We ordered 2 of the $5 tapas, the frogs legs (seemed frozen and a little chewy) and empanadas (absolutely delicious), as well as shrimp & chorizo skewers (fantastic), spanikopita (very good), and beef short ribs (our favorite of all the small plates). We didn't have dessert because we were saving ourselves to head over to Better Than Sex for dessert. Overall, Santiago's Bodega had delicious tapas and fantastic service in a nice atmosphere.
