“Surprising little gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2014

We stumbled across this little park maintained by the local Garden Club, and were delighted. Built around parts of an old fort right on the beach, the garden is cute and loose--and very Key West. Stop in if you're in the area, for sure.

“Nice but not the best Key West has to offer”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2014

don't be fooled, there is no tall tower. It was torn down some years ago but much of the fort remains. It is a pleasant place, nice plants, but we went out of our way to see it and it probably wasnt' worth that. The nearby beach (Higgs) is nice, so if you're there anyway check it out.

“Same as Key West Garden Club”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2014

Worth a visit for a free attraction! Mostly a garden, but still pretty with flowers, nice views, and a lil history.

“Great view of the water from a historic garden fort!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2014

This place is great, takes donations for admission so I like to come here on lunch and zen out. The plants are beautiful and its just all around cool to chill in a tropical garden with the ocean breeze behind you. I'm hoping to get married here! :)

“always worth a return visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2014

this place is a real gem for a quiet spot to relax and view the plantings. we have returned here time and again since 1971, when the place was just a shell, now turned into a beautiful garden.
