“Neat little place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014 NEW

This place is totally free to visit and it's a great little place to visit. The gardens are kept up by the Key West people and they are beautiful.

“Great garden in an old Civil War Fort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

Beautiful garden set in a Civil War Fort with the ocean as a backdrop. We skipped the botanical gardens for this place. It was cooler and the price was right....free!

this is a free attraction, which is very unusual in Key West.It is the remains of a Civil War era fort that has been transformed into a garden center and is vey well done.Donations are accepted....

“Beautiful botanical overlooking the turquoise Atlantic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

Rustic red brick fort houses gardens that blend the native with the exotic. Lovely art interspersed both inside and out. Shaded with cooling breezes and nicely placed sitting areas make this a quiet retreat. There is no entrance fee, but donations do help with the upkeep.
