After or late arrival an settling in to or room or air conditioner wasn't working right and we could not get or back door unlocked or open for some reason? A call to the front desk put us on hold but or room was right across from the maintenance room/house keeping etc. I flagged down
This guy was nice named Tim. He said he was the maintenance engineer, he came into our room showed us how to work the air and fixed or back door we watched him fix the lock on the bottom of the floor so we could open it. He talked to us about where to go and what to do while we were here on this beautiful island he should of been a travel agent, This hotel is lucky to have such a employee running around here. We watched him opening doors for other people and talking to them they why that he did with us. The hotel is very nice and were thrilled to be here .....We will be back!!

Key West is an interesting place. Great weather and plenty of activity. The Westin was not much to look at when I approached but I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the room. Very spacious and extremely comfortable. Nice pool area and restaurants. Very close to all that is going on in town. Some of the exteriors (elevator lobbies, etc.) are a bit dated and could use a facelift but that is just cosmetics. The real surprise was the lack of noise. You go from the crowds and the music of Duvall Street walk two blocks, turn the corner to the Westin and silence. Not sure how the City planners manged that one, but it was amazing how you do not hear the reverly that is so close. For that alone (and the bed) I recommend this location if you're staying in Key West.

I highly recommend this Hotel, location is great but the best part was the staff. Highly attentive to our requests, especially the front office supervisor Al Duncan, he went over and above to make our stay special. We will return next January for sure. Make sure you visit Sunset Key for breakfast, it's beautiful, a reall tropical island. Just ask Al .

escaped from a flophouse , for only $120 more , we landed in a beatiful , fluffy , extra-clean , extra-quite , sunset view suite with crispy linens and great bathroom. Personnel super friendly an professional , enchanting view.
