“A nice break from Duval St”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

A real working seaport mixed with tourist attractions, lots to see and do. Watch the huge white tarpon swim around at the back end of Alonzo's Oyster Bar (and DO NOT MISS their half-price appetizer happy hour - great food, large portions, excellent service!)

“Feeding Time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

It's fun to watch the fishermen throw scraps while cleaning their catch down at the historic seaport in Key West. There are lots of pelicans, and if you look closely, tarpons, parrot fish and more.

“Quiet, interesting marina”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Walk a little bit from Mallory Square and you'll hit Key West Bight. This is a municipal marina, so you get a mix of interesting people. There is also a turtle museum, great restaurants near by, less crowded gift shops, easy access to parking and a museum for Fort Jefferson. You can also find charter boats for fishing trips, sunset cruises or even a trip to the Dry Tortugas. We saw manatees near the boats docked in the marina, as well as tarpons and pelicans.
