We came here twice for Cuban buche and café con leche. Both were EXCELLENT. Be careful; the coffee is very hot.
I was stationed in Key West in the mid sixties, while there I was introduced to a Cuban snack called " Bollos". They are made from Blackeyed peas. Everytime I visit I have to have 2-3 orders. I have been looking for the recipe with no success. if anyone knows the real Cuban recipe pls post to this site and I will be muchos gracious. Thanx Rcok.
Best takeout Cuban on the island. You can tell by the line of locals waiting for food. Wish I could have stayed longer to eat their food more often
Been a proud patron since the early 1990's. It don't look like much cause there isn't much to it, appearance that is... the food will knock your block off though. Go for a morning cafe con leche and pan cubano con mantequilla. Follow it up with a lunch special and sit outside on the bus bench. You will not be sorry. If your looking for "show", you'd better not go.
