The key lime shooter was delicious though, it tasted like candy. very dangerous! :)

We ate their twice on our recent trip. The first experience was much better than the first.

The first time I ordered corn-on-the-cob, it was tasty and fresh. Three days later, I think my corn was three days old. The kernels on the cob were shriveled.

My husband and I have always loved their steak sandwiches. This time, the steak was a little grisley and hard to chew. My grilled chicken was delicious.

The service was rather mediocre. We sat there with empty glasses when our food was served. The server obviously was only responsible for delivering the food. Our waitress was busy with other customers. We watched another employee escort a family to a table near us. He tossed the menus in the center of the table and said, "There you go!" then walked away. So did the family.

Then we watched another employee diligently put candles on every table. We were still sitting there with empty glasses when she put a candle on our table. It was apparent that every employee had their own individual responsibilities. Finally, our waitress came back.

We generally enjoy the atmosphere and the food. This time it was just so-so.

Great music but unfriendly staff and weak pour on drinks. We felt that this place was really overrated. Grab a drink elsewhere and listen to their music from the street!

After trying in vain to get a seat at Sloppy Joe's, we gave up and went to Hog's breath saloon and got seated right away. They had a live musician and our waitress was prompt but not overly attentive. It was a fine meal. Husband had the dolfin, he thought it was good and would recommend it. We shared the conch fritters as an appetizer, it was the only time we had conch fritters so I can't compare them to others, but they tasted okay. I ordered a caesar salad in an attempt to balance all the key lime I ate on that trip, but didn't care for the salad (I am picky about my caesar salads). Not a bad place to have lunch! I would return, but might try other places before coming back. However, I am very grateful that they seated us right away so we could get out of the heat and into the air conditioning!
