Great atmosphere. Some dishes are just ok but others are very good. Definitely need to try the place more than once. The connected bar Virgilio's usually has good live entertainment.

We tried eating here for three days and something always came up or we couldn't get in but it was so worth the wait. First the bread that they serve is so good with the dipping oil yum. Then we both ordered salads. I had the one with the caided pecans/walnuts oh my gosh, it was so good. Then I splurged and had the shrimp and lobster $30 which was actually a good price for lobster in my opinion and the shrimp was to die for. My husband had a torteliini dish that he really liked but everything in the place smelled so good. Overall our dinner cost was cheaper than our lunch at Louie's!!! and I had LOBSTER!! Well worth it
Probably the best Italian in the Keys. Very well cooked and a tat pricey.
Nothing to rave about, I thought it was OK
We have eaten here 4 times in 4 years.
This year it's gone downhill - previous reviews say it has been bought so this would explain it.
First the good: inside the decor and ambience is great; the cocktail bar in the restaurant, Virgilio's offers maybe the best cocktails in the world and the bartender is a very friendly lady; it's very central.
The not so good. My meal was above average (just). But my partner had gnocci which was poor tasting and really undercooked. He ate about 3 mouthfulls and left the rest. The waitress didn't even ask if everything was ok or why he had left 90% of his food.
The food isn't as good as it was but, worse, far worse was the very average service, far short what you'd expect of a place like this (i.e. upmarket).
Service: unattentive, luke warm, couldn't care less.
