“Great home made food from skilled Caribbean cooks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

The best Caribbean Jerk Chicken I have ever tasted. It puts all other Caribbean Jerk Chicken that I have ever tried to shame! It is worth eating there!

“Simple and with a local feel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

Best fish we've had so far on the island. Very simple place with plastic covers on the tables and painting hanging slightly askew on the walls. Friendly service, really good food and a complimentary slice of key lime pie and pumpkin pie. Definately woth coming back.

“Felt at home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012 via mobile

Really friendly service, made us feel like we were eating at home. Shrimp with pasta was great, great snapper sandwich made to order was delicious. Garlic bread was just right, escargot was good but next time I will tell them to add more garlic..I love garlic! The place is nothing fancy and its a little out of the way but well worth it for a dining experience.

“Humble Appearance, Extraordinary Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

Don't judge a book (or restaurant) by the cover. Walk in, sit down and enjoy the friendly service and excellent cooking. We were a little hesitant due to the "homey" look of the place but really glad we pushed away pretenses and enjoyed the place. Escargots - excellent (soft and not overly garlicky); Snapper - excellent with a velvety sauce and some rice infused with coconut water; Oxtails - excellent with a rice/beans misture; garlic bread - excellent as the bread was rubbed with the garlic, not ladled onto it. The Haitian beer goes great with the food and the deserts are homemade. Entrees are priced in the $15 - $22 range, much lower than other places in the area. Gotta go.
