After reading all of the positive reviews I drove down for lunch for Key Colony Beach in March. It was well worth the drive. We had the shirt steak and it was excellent and so was the sangria. I think it had the most value of any place we ate in the keys. Very fair prices and quite crowded.
Popular place for locals and tourists who are "in the know." Blocks off the beaten path and nothing special on the outside or inside except great food, service and value This place was recommended to us by our B & B host and he was right. Dinner and wine for two for $ 31
El siboney great food generous portions. Go for the food - no atmosphere and you will wait but the food is sooo worth it.
There is almost always a wait to get in and the more people that know how wonderful this place is, the longer the wait will be! This is the best Cuban cuisine I have ever had. And the people are wonderful. We showed up just before closing one night and there were no customers in the place but they took care of us as if we were regulars. So, stay away from this place so I won't have to wait next time we go!
