Michael's was our special meal while we were in Key West. My husband prefers beer to wine and when he asked the waitress about the beers she gave him a rude attitiude. Her pronunciation of the name of the german beer was flawless, but she could not describe what type of beer it was (ans did not go back for more information). I wanted to have the salad with artichoke but was smart enough to ask if the artichoke was fresh- it wasn't. Why serve anything but fresh if you aspire to serve fine food? Otherwise, the food was excellent, possibly even superior but our evening was marred by poor service. There are dozens of choices in KW that are more worth your time and money.

This was our "special treat" dinner while in Key West.
The food was outstanding. Partner had the 8-oz filet, I had the veal chop. Both were beyond expectations. Pomegranate martini's were very nice.
Chocolate volcano is not to be missed (we took a doggie bag back to the hotel so we could indulge in this treat)
Staff was on spot.
Dinner was approximately $200 with drinks and tip etc.. well worth the $$.

This dinner was the highlight of our eating experience in KW. The rib-eye steak was the equal of any I've ever had in the top NY steak houses. But what makes it better, is that it is not al la carte. You get a potato and veggis included for $40.
My wife had a surf and turf, and loved it.
Service was good, but the food was outstanding.
Go here, spend the money, its worth every penny,

Since people were smoking in the outside dining area, we chose to eat in the air-conditioned inside dining room - but the atmosphere was boring (unusual for Key West). Clean, but not particularly attractive. The service was perfection. The food was pricy, but everything we ordered was excellent.
