Went to Blue Heaven with 3 girlfriends last week after reading the many positive reviews on tripadvisor. I must say, I was not impressed at all. After waiting an hour to be seated, which I expected, we were seated inside in a nearly empty restaurant. The outside seating seemed very nice, but we didn't want to wait any longer. After we were seated, a friend of mine went to use the ladies room and I ordered her a dacquiri. The waitress rudely asked me if my friend was "of age" to be drinking. Clearly, we were all "of age" to be drinking. We all ordered appetizers, which were very good. I had the scallops - delicious! Our waitress then informed us that they were out of the Grouper, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to go to Blue Heaven. I heard the Grouper was very good. I ended up ordering another fish dish, which was very good - I think it was Halibut. Two of my friends ordered a steak dish and they both said the steak was very tough. My other friend ordered an expensive lobster tail dish and the lobster was bad. She asked me to taste it and it was mushy and flavorless. After 20 minutes our waitress showed up and we told her that we got a bad lobster. She did offer another one, but by that time everyone else was finished their dinners, so my friend declined. After all that, she didn't even take it off the bill, or at the very least take a discount on the bad lobster. I was very dissaponted in Blue Heaven as it was our one "nice dinner" out on our trip to Key West. It does have a very nice atmosphere outside though. I don't think I'll try it again.
