“A wonderful new cafe in Key West”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Frenchies is a very affordable small cafe with authentic French food. Their plain butter croissants are out of this world. Their quiche and salads are fantastic also. The owners are very friendly & talkative. They are open for breakfast and lunch and if you are in Key West, be sure to go there. You won't be disappointed!

“Authentic French, Classic Key West”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Adorable cafe - everything inside is French! Food is made to order and is a great value for the price. You can sit on the porch and people watch with a cup of coffee. The pastries are large and extremely reasonable and special requests are made to order.

“Phenomenal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012 via mobile

Very nice cafe with extremely friendly staff/owners. Food is made to order. Extremely fresh and excellent food. The salads are great. Open kitchen with nice atmosphere. Very clean. Authentic French pastry, not frozen. Only 1/2 block off Duval. If you are in the southern end you have to stop by!

“Quiche & French Pastries are Great here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

This shop has the best Quiche ever! A nice selection of wine, espresso, sandwiches, salads & soups are also on the menu at this very French Cafe. Try the Croque-Monsieur it is a very tasty treat. Prices are very affordable and both inside and outside dining are available here. Service is above excellent and the food is delicious.

“Unique in Key West - Charming with outstanding food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

A girlfriend was back in Key West and I wanted to meet her someplace different and special for lunch. She had lived here for many years and we tend to get bored going to the same old places - they all seem the same after a while. What a refreshing change Frenchie's Cafe was :) 3 of us met for lunch. 2 had sandwiches - home made artisan bread, gourmet type cheeses, and the presentation was just as wonderful as the flavors. Me, I went right for dessert - a chocolate eclaire stuffed to the brim with chocolate. I'm sure it was not a low calorie dessert but whose counting when this is your entree? It was divine. They have seating outside at a counter and 3 or 4 tables inside. The cafe is quite charming, the kitchen is open air and the owners and staff could not be any friendlier and helpful in answering questions. Their quiche was mouth-watering, but they were out of their vegetarian for the day. I sort of hate to recommend this little gem so highly - fearing they become too crowded for we locals who have found a special little corner to meet. They are supposed to be staying open a little later soon. They also serve beer and wine. Bon Appetite!
