“Once again Hospitality "SECOND To NONE"”

This was our second trip to this guest house and it was better than the first. Steve made us feel at home and all the other residents were very friendly. I can't say enough about this place. We have been to the Keys in excess of a dozen times and this is by far the most comfortable place we have stayed. We have already booked a room for next year.

We came to Key West for our wedding. I researched tons on B&B's and I am so happy we picked Marrero's. Staying at Marrero's really made the whole wedding week perfect. The house is beautiful. It is an authetic Key West guesthouse. I really have no idea why people stay in the brand hotels when you can stay in an place like Marrero's. Steve, our host was amazing to my family and to us. He was extremely accomdating to all my guests. As an added bonus, Marrero's is close to everything. It is right where you need to be.
The breakfast outside on the porch is serene and plentiful and you can sit there and listen to the tour trains talk about Marrero's as they pass. So much fun!
The pool was very clean and we eventually got used to the clothing optional part.
We can't wait to go back next year for our anniversary!

My wife and I visit Key West at least once a year. We stayed at Marrero's for the first time last weekend, we checked in on Friday and hated to leave on Sunday! As everyone has mentioned, Steve is great! He will give you the tour when you check in and explain all you need to know about the house. We stayed in room 22 and it was nice enough, only used it to sleep and shower so it was all we needed.

The pool area was very nice, plenty of seating area and met some real nice people. Happy Hour was great but wished it was also held at the pool (had to get dressed to get a drink at the HH). Breakfast was more than enough for us, sitting on the porch in the morning with the newspaper was a good way to start our day.

The location is great, its half a block from Duval and an easy walk to Mallory Square and the whole waterfront (Schooner Warf, Half Shell, Turtle Krals, etc) Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Marrero's and will definitely stay here the next time we come to Key West!

Checked in on Sunday for an 8 day stay. Was met by Steve ( very friendly) . Taken on tour and everything explained. ( "Don't forget your key at night, Cause "Homey" won't come and let you in ") LOL! Inside joke. Enjoyed the clothing optional and always open pool. Great for dips after the clubs closed. Just be courteous and keep the noise down for the other guests. We didn't make the happy hour get together, though everyone else seemed to enjoy them. The close proximity to all the Duval Street attractions made it the idea spot to stay without having to drive. We stayed in #23. Good bed. A little cramped, but nothing we couldn't live with. Wasn't in the room that much- busy dancing. Very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Marrero's. The atmosphere was great. Manager Steve was hospitable, informative and fun. Breakfast on the porch was delightful with lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and pastry. Happy hour was a nice touch and put us in the mood for Duvall St. Rooms were adequate size, comfortable, quiet, and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay again.

Marrero's is quaint and provides the total Key West experience of charm, fun and friendliness. The location allows you be off the beaten path but still in the middle of everything. Steve is a great innkeeper. He will make sure your breakfast is fresh and your evening happy hour is happy. We particularly liked the fact that he is so personable and will take the time to really get to know the guests. While this is certainly an all adult inn, it is not just for couples. It is a relaxed place to meet some interesting folks and enjoy your time. The age and uniqueness of the mansion simply adds to the experience. Don't stay there if you are looking for the Ritz. But certainly book a room if you are looking for the real Key West.

this was my first visit to key west and i will be back. The people who choose to stay here are very friendly. The happy hour was a great time with guests just chatting away. the pool also provided a nice meeting place. thought i'd jump in the pool after a night on duval street to find other folks with same idea at 2 in the morning. nice, comfortable visit.
