“FUN CRAZY THE BEST”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

THIS PLACE WAS CRAZY FUN DURING A WONDERFUL VISIT: fANTASY fEST. I DO THINK A LOT OF THE GREAT TIME WAS BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE THAT STAY THERE TOO, ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. but it is the owner that puts it all together for us and it was a blast. The pool is VERY small, so if that is important, go down the street to the Wicker House. The rooms are sort of small (we had the suite) but you know what they say: location, location, location! If you are there for FF, the judges' stand sets up right there so you have a front row seat for the parade as well. Breakfast of bagels after shall we say some serios drinking was helpful. Loved this place, but gotta go bigger this year so are headed for the Truman Annex. BUT highly recommend it!

Room Tip: Great ADULT location, i would not have liked it had kids been running about. sorry, not the time or...

This was my first time in KeyWest so I was a bit shocked on how expensive the hotels were. I found this place on Trip Advisor and did research on other travel sites, based on all the positive feedback I decided to give it a go. I'm so happy I did. Staff was was super friendly. Room was clean, I had the room with the kitchenette, which was a big plus. Wasn't noisey at all to me and we went around memorial weekend. Location is perfect, right at the end of Duval St( where all the excitment is). I didn't see or go in the pool. Breakfast was good, nothing major though. Cozy enough for a couple. Bathroom is nice, loved the large shower. Parking is limited which was a bummer. Overall I loved it and will stay here again.

Cosy rooms, very nice staff. Noisy. We woke up at 6 a.m. because of traffic. It was possible to hear neighbours talking. Poor breakfast. Pool was small but good to have.

we loved the location! i liked the feeling of the property - felt like home - no elevators and lobbies to go through to get to your room. our room was located at the back of the house so it was very quiet considering we were in the heart of everything. however, the room was very, very small and the bathroom was smaller - felt like a bathroom you would find on a camper. very basic furnishings and clean, but not spotless. we were only there for the weekend and because we were so close to everything (we walked) we had such a great time (didn't spend much time in the room or on the property). we would definitely consider this hotel again in the future.

We were in room 21 with the balcony on Duval Street. Room was very small- no closet, bathroom was very small, no vanity area at all.. Not a place to stay to be comfortable in for a week- a couple of nights max.. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, toaster was broke, milk was warm and the orange juice canister was empty.. Pool is very small, not a comfortable environment- patios from the rooms are there on the swim deck. There was no available parking; 4 or 5 CARS can park in the parking lot, we have an SUV and had to pay to park in the street. If you plan to rent scooters or the little cars to drive around- X that because you won't have anywhere to park them, there is a place to lock up bicycles. The window A/C unit in the room blocked out the noise from Duval Street. Brianna from the office was very nice, but overall and very unpleasant experience. Good location though.

Duval Gardens was an amazing experience. The rooms are beautiful, modern, and very clean. We had room number#16 king room with French doors out to the pool. The location is perfect on the quieter side of Duval St. But still close enough to all the action. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Can't wait to come back. This was our 1st experience at a bed and breakfast but we will be back. We would recommend this place!
