“The best!”

My husband and I decided to take a trip to Key West for our wedding anniversary. After visiting Trip Advisor to find reviews of a place to stay, we picked Alexander’s. We could not have asked for anything better. Jeff and his staff are truly amazing. The property is gorgeous; the staff will go above and beyond to assist with dinner recommendations and suggestions on things to do.

Yes, we were a straight couple visiting Alexander’s and thanks to the staff and guests, from the moment that we walked it, we felt completely at home. Breakfast was wonderful, and the pool area was small, but very well maintained. Our room (#11) was gorgeous, although the bathroom had a tiny shower and no counter space. Probably the best part of our stay was the nightly happy hour. It was a great chance to have a drink, meet the other guests, and just have fun.

If you are planning on visiting Key West, you must stay at Alexander’s. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else on our next trip.

My second visit to Alexanders and Key West and booked a return visit before I left. The facility and amenities are four-star. The breakfast buffet is most satisfying -even for the heartiest of appetites; the complementary happy hour is a great way to meet the other guests. Speaking of the guests, on both trips there was a nice age mix (30-60ish) and always some international travelers. Also a very nice range of room sizes and configurations - and all are comfortable. Try them - I suspect you'll become a regular too!

Room Tip: The biggest decision factors: room with no patio, an enclosed, private patio or a public-facing pati...

I have stayed at Alexander's at least twice per year for the last several years and am amazed at how they can continue to improve the property, and the experience, every time I visit. In addition to keeping the maintenance up to high levels (not easy for a house that was originally built in the early 1900's, at best), they keep changing and adding amenities that guests (especially repeat guests, like me) will enjoy. Breakfast is still great. Happy Hour is fun. This time, they have added the new Perka Rewards program, which can result in free nights. What more can you ask?

Last, but not least, the staff. A group of folks who bend over backward to make your time in Paradise the best it can be. What can I say? Thanks to each of you guys. You're the best.

My wife and I recently stayed 7 nights. We chose Key West and Alexander's for a relaxing anniversary gift to each other and it was just perfect. It was our first stay at Alexander's and will now be the first of many. The experience from the time we booked our stay through our departure was seamless.

The level of service from everyone is exactly why Alexander's is at the top of everyone's list. We went to Key West with nothing planned out. We were able to get every question we had answered at all times by the staff from bike rental, sunset watching, recommendations for dinner and takeout/delivery options.

The property is very quaint and comfortable. It was the perfect property to be able to relax while on sight but close enough to everything for whatever type of day/evening you are looking for. We enjoyed meeting and spending time with other guest whether gay & lesbian, straight or single. The happy hour by the pool is a wonderful end to your day or start of your evening:). Andrew and Shannon helped make this extremely enjoyable.

We stayed in room 14 for our stay. This was a large room on the bottom level next to the hot tub. There is a good size front porch that we often ate breakfast or enjoyed a glass of wine on. Noise was not an issue with us at all. The bathroom was good size as well. The bed and linens were comfortable and my favorite part is that the air conditioning ran like a champ allowing for a very nice sleep. Housekeeping was fantastic on a daily basis. Very thorough and efficient and extremely pleasant.

Breakfast was also very good. There was a large selection to choose from. Vagner's spinach quiche was wonderful:). Agnes also made an awesome birthday cake for another guest while we were there as well!

I could go on and on regarding our stay. I highly recommend whether you can stay a night or a week it will be well worth your time and money.

A special thanks to Jeff, Andrew, Agnes, Rebecca, Vagner. Really, I should just list the entire staff! I do not want to leave anyone off the list.

We booked our next visit before even leaving the property!

This was our third time at Alexander's and I have already booked the fourth. I suppose people want a review of the mattresses, or the chairs around the pool, or the temperature of the water in the Jacuzzi, they were all great! But we don't go on vacation for these reasons. We keep going back to Alexander's for the atmosphere they have cultivated! Gay or strait you will be greeted with open arms. The staff will do anything in it's power to make you feel like you are their only guest.
Every time we stay at Alexander's we make new friends from all over the world. After the first happy hour we have met and made friends with everyone. We will have dinner with some, go out for a drink with others and have some great conversations. When people leave we are exchanging phone numbers or become Facebook friends. That's why we visit Alexander's! It's a very special place where everyone is welcome and treated as a special guest.
If you go on vacation to have a good time and meet new friends Alexander's is the place for you.
For those that don't, you will still leave having a great time!
