I think this was one of the nicest gay and lesbian guest houses I have stayed at, quaint, charming friendly staff, excellent decor and good location. My partner and I went and would return for sure except next time I will spend more time relaxing by the pool.

We recently spent a week at Alexander's in Key West. It is by far the nicest gay/lesbian guesthouse I've experienced. The entire staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and bartenders were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit.

I loved our room, which had French door that led to the pool, hot tub, and deck. From talking to other guests, I don't think there's a "bad" room in the place. Some are larger, some are smaller, and some offer more privacy, but everyone seemed very pleased about their rooms.

The atmosphere, at least the week we visited, was extremely friendly. All of the rooms were full, and everyone congregated around the pool at happy hour. Many people chose to have dinner or visit local attractions with others people they met at Alexander's, but if you want to keep more to yourselves, that isn't a problem either.

We heard several times from Key West merchants, taxi drivers, etc. that Alexander's is definitely one of the best places to stay in Key West. I'd agree.

This was my first stay at a small guesthouse, and I don't know what to rate higher, the amenities or the service. I was instantly comfortable thanks to the friendly staff and personal tour. The room was inviting and the pool and bar area were great places to relax. The decor was very relaxing and homey.

I had an unfortunate emergency while on vacation, and the staff at Alexander's were horrified to hear about it and bought flowers for me on my return. It was unbelievably generous and made a horrible experience better.

I am excited to go back and relax at Alexander's again.

This was our first time staying at Alexander's in Key West and my first visit to KW period. My partner has been to Key West but has never stayed at Alexander's and it has come recommended to us. I cannot say enough about the property! It looked exactly as it does in the online pictures and we were more than pleased with our pretty room, large bathroom and the overall cleanliness. The staff were great, especially Laura, Matt and Phillipe and the bartenders. The expanded continental breakfast was a nice way to start off the day relaxing outside and the happy hour poolside in the afternoon was a great way to meet other guests, who we would see all over the island. Even though it is quite a few blocks off Duval, it was a nice stroll into town and we also rented bikes which made it easy! We enjoyed the quietness of the location and are already booking our next stay! This is a great boutique guesthouse!
