I had always wanted to stay at La Te Da and was very happy to spend 2 nights off season between Womens Fest week and Bike week in Key West. We were upgraded to a luxury suite room (21) a nice sized room with a renovated bathroom upstairs. Everyone was super friendly, breakfast is included and you are only a few steps from everything. We really enjoyed being in close proximity to the Wine bar, Rum bar, good restaurants, art galleries, shopping etc. The food, drinks and service at La Te Da were better than expected and we can't wait to return.

Okay, my husband and I didn't stay at the La Te Da, but I still feel compelled to write a review as we stopped a couple of times on our trips up and down Duval to eat at the outside bar. It was WONDERFUL. The bartenders were just great and so was the food. If the service at the bar was indicative of the hotel as a whole I can't imagine that this wouldn't be an awesome laid back place to stay during a visit to Key West. You can see the pool from the bar and altough it's small, it looks like the perfect place to take a cooling dip. On the whole it looks like the La Te Da would be a fun place to stay on our next visit to Key West.

Drove into Key West on the Friday before Issac, dropped the rented car off and settled in at The LaTeDa for 2 nights. Chris at the front desk was so nice & helpful with local info and everyone else working there was very friendly. Our room (31) was right off the pool and although it wasn't fancy it had character and was very clean. Having a small frig was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent. Went "downtown" just in time for the beautiful sunset and party atmosphere. We caught the end of the piano music in the bar area and wished we had gotten there earlier as it looked like so much fun. The location is great for exploring the island from one end to the other....so much to see along the way!

I usually head down to Key West a couple of times a year. We were looking for a new place to stay and decided to try out La Te Da, since we have walked by it a hundred times.
Everything about our stay was excellent. The service was great. The breakfast which was included with our stay, was delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool and bar area were relaxing and clean. Not to mention rye location is great since it is on Duval but on the quieter end.
I'd definitely recommend this place and wil be back.
