This is a fun, hour-long performance by professional cabaret performers in an intimate theater space at the La Te Da Hotel (located on the good part of Duvall). The night we attended it was a one-person show with well-known impersonator Chris Peterson. He is an incredible mimic and a bawdy sort of broad whose jokes made the audience laugh throughout the performance. My sister and I both loved it and were glad we shelled out the bucks to see it. For the ticket price of around $27 we saw everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Judy Garland and even Julie Andrews and Lady Gaga. However, be aware that the ticket price isn't all you'll be paying to see the show, and that's where I do have a complaint with the fact that we weren't told before purchasing the tickets that there's a two drink minimum. It was only mentioned after I signed my credit card receipt. I thought two drinks were excessive for a show that's just an hour long but we were really looking forward to seeing this, so we went ahead. The cheapest drink was $6, house wine, but we ordered a nicer wine for more $, and it didn't taste as it should, so we were sure we got the house wine or whatever was open. We couldn't find the waitress to send them back and didn't see her again until it was nearly the end of the show and she came around to collect orders for the second round. By the time we were served the second drink there was no way to drink since show was ending. The second glass tasted different than the first so we basically left two full glasses on our table. This cost us an extra $32 + tip. In the end, it was almost $100 for the two of us to see the show. I think the show is great and do recommend it but just wish this extra expense was made clear up front. In spite of this, the outside bar at La Te Da is really a great place to hang out, and there's live music inside and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. We enjoyed hanging here so much that we came back a second night during our stay. And we were more than happy to spend our money out there. I think the cabaret would be better for everyone if, when purchasing the show tickets, each person paid for their drinks / tip in advance then received two ticket vouchers for their two-drink minimum. This would leave it up to them where / when they want to use them, whether during the show or for a nightcap after. It would also eliminate the hassle of having the waitress come around with bar tabs then collecting payment at end of the show.
