Great staff, Great food again. We had a ball. BTW...My last review should have been 5 stars not 1.

We were expecting a medicore hotel when we arrived for the price we paid. However, what we found was appalling. When entering, the sanitation strip was placed on the toliet, but when I removed it and lifted the seat, something of the biohazard nature was lurking inside. Completely disgusting. I felt it would be ok to keep my toothbrush and toothpaste on the bathroom sink; however, a bug or mouse regularly excreted waste on the sink, soiling my toothbrush. The dark blue blanket on the bed had white stains. The housekeeping do not understand the do not disturb sign on the door and barged in when I was changing. This was my worst hotel experience. I will never think about staying here again and would advise others to do the same.

We stayed at Ibis Resort Oct 3-7, We read alot of reviews and decided to book even though there were some negative reviews. For the price you pay for these accomodations.....they are just fine. The room was clean, the staff was friendly. Some people complained about not having a phone in their room. Big deal. Most people have cell phones anyway. A chest of drawers would have been nice but we did just fine without the. We don't spend alot of time in the room anyway. The resaurant/pool area was nice and the food was good. Staff was very welcoming. We asked for a mini fridge ahead of time and we were al set when we got there. We have no complaints! We would definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for a renovated room.

Some rooms are definitely larger than others, and mine was on the small side. The bed mattress was hard, tiny shower, and there were no amenities like clock, hair dryer, or phone to call the front desk. It looked like changes are being made to the facility as a whole (some rooms were being painted and there are flatscreen TVs). But it is an older resort that tended to seem dated rather than funky. The staff were very nice for the most part.

so the wife and i stayed at the ibis for a long weekend. i have to say overall it was a good stay. the hotel is making alot of upgrades everyday. the 4 real parrots just outside our room was a plus, we found ourselves walking over and trying to have a conversation with them many times. ( sober & tipsy ) The room ( new room ) was small but clean and updated. nice lamps, tile, decor....ect. shower is small, very small... im talking cruise ship small. so be careful if your a plus size. no fridge in room.... but if you ask like we did.... poof .... few hours after we went out on the town ... there it was in the room and cold and clean. thanks to the very nice front desk staff. i walked over to the beach type area and they are fixing it up, it has potential. i also went to the pool one afternoon it was very clean and nice lounge chairs, but this is where i take points away.....
you pay $ 10.00 per day resort fee... i went to the front desk to ask where the pool towels are located since there was only 2 bath towels in the room they said they dont have them. huh ??? kidding me right... i had to use my bath towels which get kinda sweaty and lotion on them... i even asked a house keeper if i can trade these out and she told me no she didnt have anymore to trade. the resort fee is a rip off. i asked many staff what it is for (wi-fi, parrot food, turtle food, ect.... ) they just said it is a mandatory charge and kinda shruged it off.
do us all a favor and ditch the resort fee and just add it to the price of the room. when you have a resort fee you kinda feel you should get something for the money. YOU GET NOTHING !!!
would i stay again.... sure if you ditch the resort fee... if you have an extra $10 per day to just make a fire and throw it in to burn then the motel is a great place to stay... if you dont then there are a half a dozen other motels within a half mile with the same service and ammenities with out the extra $ 10.00 charge per day..... they offer a great product with the ibis, shame one lame useless charge will make me look else where next time....

Room Tip: rooms in the lower 500's have a worker storage shed behind them, they are very loud and even hav...

Rooms are small but cute. Beds are a little hard and shower stalls are tiny and I am only 5'2" tall. Breakfast was not tasty at all nor did it match the description on the menu. 2 for 1 Key Lime Margaritas are 2 for 1 for a reason, not much alcohol at all! Appetizers were good at night. Overall, it was ok for the price and a very cute resort, but I may spend the extra next time for a decent size shower and better bed.
