This property offers many different options and prices to accommodate a variety of needs. Ours was to repeat the wonderful experience from four years ago. We booked a room in the Dewey House B&B for five nights during February break. The Dewey House (and its neighbor, Le Mer) offer an Adults Only experience with an ultra deluxe continental breakfast, afternoon "tea" snacks and beverages and turn down service. (Turn down services are perfect for when we use the beach or pool and need to shower and change for dinner. Fresh towels replace wet ones for the morning, too.)

The staff always goes above and beyond. Having injured my ankle just prior to our trip, our innkeeper, Samantha, offered a bag of ice and a room change to main floor so that I would not have to use the stairs. Instead, I elevated my ankle on the private partially covered patio.

This area is used for breakfast and "tea" . At other times you'll find people taking in sun, reading, playing cards, or simply relaxing. It overlooks the beach, with beautiful views.
Breakfast consisted of freshly squeezed juice, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, cheeses, quiche, pastries and croissants from a French bake shop on Duvall. The huge fruit platter included fresh pineapple, orange and grapefruit slices, papaya, blueberries, strawberries, honey dew and cantaloupe melons, kiwi, and bananas. Cereal and milk were offered along with made-to-order Belgian waffles. An assortment of breads, English muffins, and bagels and toppings such as Nutella, peanut butter, honey and jams and jellies complete the offerings. In the adjoining room is the espresso/cappuccino machine and pots of fresh coffee with a wide assortment of teas. breakfast is served from 8:30-10:30 am. Coffee and tea are available at the pool from 6:30AM on. In addition, our room had a coffee maker as well.

B&B guests have access to all property facilities. (Three bars, three pools, tanning/Sunrise/Sunset Pier, and exercise equipment. The tranquility pool is for adults only and very peaceful. The other two pools have live music and pool games throughout the day.
The concierge offered many choices for dining out and was knowledgeable about most. We were also given a restaurant guidebook to narrow our options.
Late check-out? No problem. Our luggage was held for us and we were given a key to the exercise gym and shower. Overall, our stay was all we wanted and more. Friends, new to Southernmost, had fantastic times, as well. A few minor glitches were quickly addressed and taken care of.
Remember sunrises and sunsets are fabulous from the pier or enjoy sunset at the festive Mallory Square. Choose your favorite time of day and enjoy!
