We have been staying at 525 United in Key West for almost 20 years. It was recently bought and renamed Southernmost Inn. The rooms are small and used to have queen beds. Under the new management, they replaced many with king beds, so the rooms are very cramped. Our bed had a foot board and we got bruises on our legs from bumping into it every time we walked around the bed. In addition, there was no dresser or place to put our stuff. They did have some baskets in the open closet (no doors), but that was not the same as having a dresser. The continental breakfast was very good and served by Dennis, who was very nice and accommodating. Housekeeping was also good. The rooms were very clean, which is why you should not expect to check in at 4pm, which is check-in time. Most people, including us, didn't get our rooms until around 4:30pm. The desk staff (Dawson and Ivy) were great. We had asked for a walk-in shower in our reservation, which wasn't in place when we arrived, but Dawson fixed that, which is good because we stayed for 9 nights!
