My husband and I took a cruise for our 25th anniversary and decided to stay in Key West afterwards instead of Cudjoe Key which we have stayed many times with our four daughters...Thw Southern Most Inn was the most accommodating beautiful clean place I have ever stayed . We travel a lot . Every employee of this inn was over the top professional... The breakfast was wonderful..I can't say enough good about this Inn.... We will definitely be back again

Room Tip: Make sure you look for The southern most inn when searching because across the street is a hotel cal...

Important things first: We loved our stay at this hotel, the room - we had a Kingsize Suite - was really spacious and was newly renovated as was the complete hotel. The two pools and the jacuzzi were awesome, the bigger pool was heated and therefore, was very comfortable also on the warm but not hot days in December. The jacuzzi was heated to 104 Fahrenheit and so comfortable, that we literally spent hours in it.
The hotel staff is great, relaxed and successfully strives to make the stay not only comfortable but to make the guests feel at home.
In addition, the hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast, which was very welcome. If you opt for spending the day relaxing at the pools and jacuzzi and feel in need of a drink, I highly recommend the hotel's patio bar. They offer a decent selection of drinks and cocktails, which were crafted by two very friendly and skilled bar tenders.
Unfortunately, the patio bar does not offer something to eat, which is not a big problem since some nice takeout places are located just around the corner at Duval street and other streets as well.
Parking on premises is limited, but offered for only a few dollars more than parking on the street.
So overall, whenever we will come back to Key West, we will stay at this hotel again.

Our room was very clean but was a bit sparse. Although two bottles of water were supplied, there were no plastic cups available. The room consisted of a bed and tv and bathroom. Not one chair. It was quite though and that was a plus. Also, adults only. Nice deck area with tables and chairs. A pool and hot tub & bar were available but we didn't use them. $25.oo fee to park in the lot.
A plus is that you can park the car and walk just about everywhere.

Room Tip: Try to book a room towards the back, not by the parking lot or street.

Well appointed, clean, nice size rooms, bed was very comfortable. Pools were in a private setting yet on a major road on the other side of the fence & you'd never know. Loved the free Sangria welcome drink. Nice continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee. Close to everything. We had a room facing the street - the garbage trucks are very noisy at 6 am - will definitely ask for a room away from the road the next time we stay.

This is a great place close to Duvall St. You can walk to anywhere from here. It is like a bed and breakfast. Room was nice. They only have 6 parking spots and they are first come. There is parking on the street for about the same price.

My wife and I stayed here five nights. Neat, clean, recently refurbished in the typical Kew West sort of 'colonial look' building. Conveniently located off, but near, the main drag, Duval street, and that Southernmost Point in Continental USA. Kind and knowledgeable and helpful people in reception. Two pools! Simple, but adequate breakfast. All day coffee.

Room Tip: If you have a lot of luggage, ask for a room on the ground floor: no elevators.

We found Southernmost Inn to be a charming hideaway in Old Town. Our room was a king bed room in the rear cottage-- clean, comfortable, and conveniently located on the ground floor. Some may find the bed to be hard--the mattress is very firm, but we slept fine. The pools are clean & inviting, surrounded by tasteful foliage & plenty of lounge chairs-- great place to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon sun, or an evening swim. The pool bar is open until 10:30 or later depending on the day, so you can relax after a long day out & about or get started before a night on Duval. Breakfast in the morning is light, but convenient for getting the day started. Complimentary Starbucks coffee can be brewed around the clock & Tazo teas are available. Room amenities include bottled water & chocolate, but bathroom amenities are in pumps for use by the masses. We didn't care for the bathroom products-- made use of those we packed from home. Parking was $27 per night, which is less expensive than adding up the hours at the parking meters. Mallory Square was about a 30 minute walk without stops, but then again-- why not stop?! Staff was friendly and professional. We look forward to returning. Definitely recommend Southernmost Inn.
