“Intimate playhouse”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

Great location. We saw a world premiere--"The Homeexchange" with a talk with the playwrite and cast afterwards. Definitely first-rate and comparable to plays and venues we attend in Los Angeles. The venue is smaller than many (which is great.) I would not hesitate to see a play here and would prefer going here over a larger place.

“Great venue.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

I love this small theater, It is in a beautifully restored old warehouse converted to a theater. The quality and choice of productions is outstanding.

“Crime Scene photography night sponsored by the Waterfront Playhouse”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

Loved solving the mystery based on crime scene photographs and scripted by the waterfront theater group. We also loved meeting the author of the books that spawned the TV show MONK. Included in the price of a ticket was a wine bar and a buffet of delicious finger foods. The event was held in the first place Ernest Hemingway stayed in Key West, next to the Pelican Poop shop. The building was beautiful with a lush atrium inside. If you are fortunate to be in Key West during Mystery week in 2013 be sure to look for this venue!

“Debbie K”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

We have been to the Waterfront Playhouse several times over the past few years and we really love this theater. It is so cozy and all of the seats are "good" seats. The last time we were there we had front row seats, and it was great! They have a bar set up outside so you can have cocktails before the show and during intermission. We will be going to a show the next time we are in Key West for sure.

The show we saw was very professioally done. A great enjoyable night out. Nothing negative to say. Would certainly go to see whatever show is on the bill when we return.
